Catania Football Club announces that it has definitively acquired from Cesena FC the right to the sports performances of the player Francesco De Rose, who has signed an annual contract with our club until June 30, 2025, with an option for the 2025/2026 season.
In his career, the midfielder has achieved five promotions, four of which were direct and under coach Toscano's guidance: two from C to B, with Reggina in 2020 and with Cesena in 2024 also winning the category's Supercup; in 2008 and 2009, the two consecutive ones with Cosenza, moving from D to Prima Divisione.
He also celebrated the promotion to the second division with Palermo in 2022 after the playoffs.
Born in Cosenza on June 21, 1987, he has also worn the shirts of Sudtirol, Casertana, Matera, Barletta, and Lecce.
In official professional competitions, he has played a total of 533 games so far, 63 in Serie B.
