Florence, May 19, 2024. From the field to the Sky Sport studio: the challenges for the second round of the national phase, the semifinals, and the final of the Serie C NOW Playoffs have been determined.
There are eight teams competing for a spot in the semifinals: on one side Padua, Torres, and Avellino, second in their respective groups in the regular season, will make their debut in the Playoffs in the next round. On the other side Benevento, Carrarese, Catania, Juventus Next Gen, and LR Vicenza, the five teams qualified after last night's matches.
Four teams are "seeded" in the draw: Padua, Torres, Avellino, and Carrarese (the best among the qualifiers) cannot face each other in the home and away matches of the national second round (May 21 and 25, 2024) and will play the second ninety minutes in front of their home crowd. The picture for the semifinals and the final has also been defined.
