For the matches scheduled at the “Angelo Massimino” stadium during the 2026/2027 sports season, Catania Football Club is seeking and selecting stewards to carry out ticket access control and stand monitoring operations, the activities required during the event in accordance with current regulations, verification of compliance with the facility’s rules of use, and management of the routing, entry and exit flow of spectators.
Applications from already qualified candidates will be assessed. At the same time, for selected individuals who do not yet hold the qualification, training courses will be arranged, with mandatory attendance and a duration of two weeks.
Interested candidates, equipped with a photocopy of a valid identity document, tax code and CV, may come to the “Angelo Massimino” stadium, Tribuna A entrance, on Tuesday 7, Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 July, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Below are some of the main requirements for admission to the selection process, set out in full in Annex A to the decree of the Ministry of the Interior of 13 August 2019 amending the decree of 8 August 2007, concerning the “Organization and service of stewards in sports facilities”:
- aged between 18 and 60;
- Italian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union Member State with adequate knowledge of the Italian language, or citizenship of non-European Union countries or stateless status, with a valid residence permit and adequate knowledge of the Italian language;
- good physical and mental health;
- no alcohol or drug use;
- absence of psychopathological conditions, including previous ones;
- physical fitness appropriate to the duties to be performed;
- lower secondary school diploma;
- no criminal record, and not being or having been a member of movements, associations or organized groups that incite hatred pursuant to Decree-Law No. 122 of 26 April 1993, converted, with amendments, by Law No. 205 of 25 June 1993;
- never having been subject to a DASPO order;
- ability to concentrate, exercise self-control and interact with the public;
- aptitude for carrying out the duties provided for by the decree and, in particular, for identifying possible safety hazards, including those arising from the behavior of people present within the sports facility area.
Catania Football Club reserves the right to verify full compliance with the requirements set out in the aforementioned reference legislation, requesting the relevant appropriate documentation from each selected candidate.
