"So much bitterness"

Francesco Di Tacchio answered journalists' questions in the press room after Pescara-Catania: "The bitterness is great because the match was going as we had imagined, maybe we needed a bit more clarity because there was time available, it's a shame to have conceded this goal on the counterattack. Now it's premature to talk and say that we will try again, we need to get over this disappointment because we believed in it, just like the whole environment and an entire city, and we're sorry we couldn't give this dream. In terms of numbers, we deserved something more, I believe: in the first leg we had several chances and they were good at staying in the game, they didn't fall apart, and found the lead goal; today we had to play this match, try to attack from the first second, maybe we lacked clarity after the 1-0 because we still had the weapons to hurt them. The second goal? They went to see if the ball had gone out or not, from the field we didn't even have the slightest perception that it could have gone out."
