The Serie C runs to support the Meyer Foundation

SERIE C RUNS TO SUPPORT THE MEYER FOUNDATION

Florence, February 6, 2025. Now in its 5th edition, the virtual couples race returns for a 
charitable Valentine's Day. It's called #RunforMeyer #RunforLove and it's the sporting event 
promoted by the Meyer Foundation on the day dedicated to lovers, with Lega Pro
taking the field to promote and concretely support the Play Therapy project
for the children of the Meyer Pediatric Hospital.
To support and back #RunForLove, Lega Pro has arranged a series 
of actions for the 26th day of Serie C NOW starting with the pre-match ceremony, with the captains 
of the two teams taking the field wearing the #runformeyer shirt accompanied by 
a speaker message explaining the initiative to the audience. The bond between Lega Pro and 
Meyer Foundation will also be celebrated with a special patch on the game uniforms of 
the Serie C captains, which will later be auctioned for charity.

How to participate - Participating is very simple: just run 9 kilometers in pairs. There are no 
time or schedule limits: the important thing is that the runners making up the pair 
cover 4.5 kilometers each. Team members can run together or 
separately, the only rule to follow is to complete the required mileage on one 
of the days of Friday 14, Saturday 15, or Sunday 16 February 2025. The initiative is obviously 
not only open to couples but also to all those who love each other, in any form: 
best friends, parents and children, grandparents and grandchildren, brothers and sisters. A formula that has been very successful: over 3,568 people participated in the last edition in 2024.

How to register - Registrations are open until 8 PM on Sunday, February 16: a donation 
of at least 9 euros per person (18 euros per pair) is required. With a donation of 5 euros 
you can receive directly at home - via courier - the new technical shirt 
#RUNFORMEYER 2025 in fluorescent yellow (high visibility) offered by Guess Foundation.
